NEW BEGINNINGS

You’ve finally managed to secure a job after a long bout of unemployment, after a short narcotics sentence. Although you serve one more year than you should have for your minor charge, you begrudgingly accept--a consequence of being promised to be taken care of by the narco-gang and dealer for not snitching to the authorities. The jobs are lucrative for someone with no immediate prospects: a bartending job (tips, you may note), a roster position on an underground football ganger team, or a bar DJ--with the catch of the position being located in an up-and-coming narco dive bar that is owned by the gang and dealer that you bit the bullet for.
